It one time it must have an absolutely gorgeous finish. I'd be interested in refinishing the woodwork. Is there a source for the key tops? Plastic or whatever is recommended? It looks like someone took thin pieces of plastic, cut them to shape, and glued them to the tops of some of the keys - it actually doesn't look bad, but a dozen or more of the keys need it. It looks like a thin piece of plastic, maybe 1/32 thick? And the finish, while in good shape in that there are no scratches or dings, the varnish appears to be cracking and it has a rough appearance and feel. The tops of many of the keys have come off. It plays well but needs minor tuning (is there such a thing as minor tuning?). The piano is in need of only minor repairs. Firstly, is there any way to tell how old this piano is? Today I was given an old upright piano, M.
